  8. Ok, I am eating popcorn and drinking coke right now, but here is the thing: this video made me feel better about myself. I’ve lost over 50 pounds 7 years ago and gained the weight back over the last 6 months due to anxiety and constant stress. I was trying to lose weight in the last few weeks using some old techniques that used to help me before, but turns out that they don’t work anymore. That is understandable, but still demotivating. I’ve been trying to be kind with myself, but deep down I knew I was constantly judging my self appearance. My old traumas were whispering in my brain that “no one would love me the way I am” (concisely I understand that is stupid, but my subconscious is much more sensitive).
    Working on my mental state helps me not to punish, but help myself and set goals wisely.

  9. I have gotten on the scale every day for 45 years. Every time my weight edged up panicked and cut back on calories. I was 160 in college. Graduated at 140. Carreer knocked 10 off, breast feeding another 10. Finally Covid the last 5. It was the habit of getting on the scale every day that did it. It flips a mental switch in your brain.

  16. I like your way of thinking. I just finished a deprivation diet (Gravity Transformation) where I lost weight – but now 6 weeks later and I put the weight back on and then some. The instructor is also emotionally over-bearing – which also added to my struggles. I default to a meat & starch chicken/rice, pasta/meatball, hamburger/potato – perhaps because they’re emotionally satisfying & I have challenging emotional situations in life. I am not inclined or "wired" for veggies – they sit in my fridge until they spoil. I like things I can make in the microwave – like oatmeal, chicken strips, salmon.etc but I know I would do better with veggies. Where do I go from here ?

  20. I discovered another weight loss hack that worked for me.
    What I did was pumped up my vitamin D intake from just walking in the sun to supplementing with 25,000 IU daily with my daily walk.
    I have been on the carnivore diet consistently for about a year and a half, and I lost 20 pounds. I was stable at 212-213 pounds for a year on carnivore.
    I saw a video interview of a guy named Jeff T Bowles where he talked about experimenting with high-dose vitamin D to help with chronic conditions, so I decided to give it a try.
    After just a couple of days, I stared losing weight. In two weeks, I lost 6 pounds, and I’m still losing weight.
    Something about the vitamin D has reduced my hunger and slightly increased my energy. I’m not sure how it works, but it does.
    Try taking high doses of vitamin D along with magnesium and K2 just to be safe…it works for me!

  23. You want some tips to lose weight? Easy. Drink only water. Don’t eat fast food. Don’t smoke. Don’t do drugs. Drink one good glass of red or white wine for your daily alcohol intake. Lay off all junk food. Lay off of all television.(that means..do only active things when you’re not sleeping..buy a skateboard or a bike or roller-skates or anything that keeps you active, but is at the same time fun).
