This is the first of four sessions of our series “Beyond COVID: Connecting Communities, Health and Care,” focusing on how COVID has led to organizations working in new ways across silos to meet people’s needs. This session will be on Community Health Centers. They have been in the eye of the storm: addressing the immediate care needs of those sick from COVID while trying to stand up public health measures like testing and vaccinations for the vulnerable communities they serve. Frances Padilla, President of Universal, will be moderating the conversation with Nichelle Mullins and Joanne Borduas. Nichelle is president and CEO of Charter Oak Health Center in Hartford and Joanne is CEO of the Community Health and Wellness Center in Torrington.
